The Frantoio Romano Vincenzo oil mill was established in Bronte in 1959. It primarily deals with the transformation of olives into oil, both on behalf of third parties and for its own production. When working for third parties, the oil mill also provides consultancy regarding cultivation and harvesting stages, aimed at improving the qualitative aspects of the oil, guiding producers to obtain increasingly high-quality extra virgin olive oil. Over the years, the company has consistently used cutting-edge technologies in the olive processing sector. In 2025, significant investments were made with the installation of a continuous integral extraction system at our premises, entirely built in stainless steel and fully washable from batch to batch. This is precisely to prevent any mixing of oil between batches, ensuring that the organoleptic qualities of each producer's oil are not compromised.

The advantages of continuous systems compared to a traditional single-pressure system of the same working capacity are: it occupies a significantly smaller area, approximately 60%; it requires less labor, considering its high level of automation; it has high productivity, cleaner machinery, with the production of overall better quality oil.

From a continuous cycle, given the same quality of olives milled, an oil with a spicier taste is often obtained, endowed with a greater polyphenol content and, therefore, a greater endowment of natural antioxidants, making it more stable and healthier.
